Once upon a time, a personal chef Catherine and food policy wonk Jacqueline met while teaching culinary classes and bonded over their love of cooking, and complete lack of time for it. True story: it was their literal job to make dinner, (and teach other folks to) but between work and kids, whipping up weeknight meals still felt HARD. She started putting it on spaghetti and meatballs, but it turned out to be the best shakshuka base, enchilada sauce, chili starter…the list goes on. From there, they started making other tasty sauces and dressings, and while you can use them in many magnificent ways, they all have one thing in common, well-a few things actually: no refined sugar, no dairy, no gluten, and absolutely no added junk.
